can anyone help or give me any information my son works for a cleaning company and has done for nearly a year he not long ago got his friend a job there as well. today his supervisor told him she has some bad news for him that a woman who worked there two years ago who has been off due to health reasons will be returning to work so someone has to move to a job elsewhere the supervisor looked at my son and his friends work record and although not a lot of days off he had had more days off than his friend so he is the one that has been told he has to work elsewhere a long way from his home is this legal because never at any time can he remember being told that someone is off sick and may be coming back just wondered if anyone could help me out thanks

i may be wrong but im sure that there is not alot that he can do as he not being there a year and they have offered allternative employment.
