HI everyone. Charlie is here.
He is 6 weeks old. I also have his brother here for 3 weeks while his owner is on holiday.
They are so tiny.
Here they are tucking into their first meal in their new home on a love heart plate:love:!
My labradors have licked them already and the kittens just let them! The good thing is they didnt seem frightened of my dogs at all!:love:

Charlie looks at home already, he will feel much happier in his new home with his new labrador mummies :)
*awaits the moment that TattyBear attempts to shut the little boys in the crate for their own safety whilst doing the hoovering, then realises that they are small enough to fit out of the crate through the first row of holes*
Hope you learn to cope with how tiny and delicate they are ;)

Hi,
I know they can fit through. If ever im not going to be in the front room then I am taking them upstairs in a room out of the way.
The cage is more so if they want to get away from us or the dogs they can and feel safe. ;)
So sweet! I've just ordered a dog crate to move our tiny mewlings in next week - the theory being the daft dobermutt wont trample all over them whilst they're not big enough to dash out of the way-but have also just realised that they'll be trying to fit through the crate bars at every opportunity...
Daft dobe has now progressed from barking her head off at them to running away from them everytime I try to show one to her. How come everyone else's dogs just licks the kitties and moves on? Must persevere- I know she doesnt object to them when they're 13 weeks old- she had no problems with the last 5 we brought home.

Its a good idea, thats why ive got ours. Not to keep the kittens in, but just so they can get away from us and the dogs if they want and to feel safe. its done the trick because they cam out a minute ago, wee'd next to molly! psml. played with a toy then went into the cage and fell to sleep, so its working! :)
Ailsa will be fine with them soon, i bet she is just curious. Dont worry katkin, it will work out just fine. She just wants to nosey i bet :)
Yeah but she does 'nosey' with her size 9 boots on and her big gnashing jaws - she hasnt figured out the meaning of 'gentle' yet. Will keep at it, anyway. Called in Argos on the way home to buy their first scratching post, which I'm sure will get plenty of use once they're clambouring around. Already got their litter tray n scoop n kitten food, ready for the next big milestone- weaning.
Keep having to remind Alfie the barmy bengal that he will always be 'favourite baby', he keeps having a bit of a sulk and grumbling everytime he sees Ashia- he refuses to look at the kittens. Animals, arent they funny!

Awww poor old dobermut she sounds all confused :hihi: my dogs don't lick kittens but they are quite gentle with them, at first though they are a bit confused and try to play with them, I think its a sort of pack bonding thing, they really are none to bright  it takes about 2 days for them to settle properly and then they tend to just ignore them and are gentle after that :)
