View Full Version : Cars - Why can't i turn the key in the ignition? Leigh 20-01-2005, 16:17 I'm hoping the solution is something simple and would be grateful for any help. I put my key in the ignition (fiat punto) and i can't turn the key to turn the engine on, it's as if the lock is locked. Anyone have any idea? Thanks. this happened with my 206, had to get AA out cos it wasnt a wiggle thing. garage had to take whole barrel out n change it. manufactors fault i was told Leigh 20-01-2005, 16:43 me and cars do not mix it was a 'wiggle thing' thanks! how had i never heard of the steering wheel locking before?! typical.......
