I upgraded my router a while ago to a Belkin N1 (pre n).
The coverage was better afterwards and the signal strength more consistent.
I've now upgraded one receiver to match, Belkin Pre N USB2.0.
Througput has quadrupled. It's reporting a connection speed of 270Mbps and sometimes as high as 320Mbps, in reality I can see about 4 MB/s when transferring files. Just over 10% of the theoretical throughput, but 4 times as fast as I ever saw on the old 802.11g connection.
Just thought I'd share that in case anyone was wondering about the potential gains to be made.
