Hi,
I am getting the 83 into town from Southey Green Library tomorrow- what is the best place to get off in town to catch the 52? I used to get off just after where it crossed Carlisle Street, but understand the route changes daily at the moment as the inner ring road progresses!

Your best bet I would think would be to get off at the back of the markets and either cross over the road (near the courts) to get the 52 to Woodhouse or walk straight up towards Wilkinson's to get it towards Children's Hosptial. Obviously depending on where you are going! The routes are all over the place at the moment aren't they?

Sorry, i should have clarified, I am heading towards Crookes. Yes the bus routes are all over, and in the end it will be worth it, no complaints as I know the change will be for the better and the contractors involved have been brilliant keeping the traffic going despite everything.
The only downfall is the lack of daily information updates online-just checked on SYPTE and the route of the 83 is unchanged since April!!!
