Picture have been banned from showing the advert in its current form as "the light-hearted tone of the ad, including the interruptions from family members, suggested that the decision to take out the loan had not been carefully considered and that it was an everyday occurrence"

Happy days. Champagne, anyone?

Now all we need to do is get those Direct Line adverts off the telly and I'll finally be happy.

I always thought that ad was bad.

Most loan adverts are.

Profligate, but an attractive poser, nonetheless.

And those ones for Norton finance with its annoying presenter who assures you that they will find a loan to suit you....her name is Caroline (Blah)....and she also works for Gems TV....so she is hardly credible ... more like incredibly cringe worthy. :gag: :gag: :gag:

I guess it's a bit like those people who stop you on Fargate and ask if you have ever had an accident. I reply, yes I was walking through town and suffered bordom by this woman with a clipboard. They are usually speechless after that.:hihi:
