Invent a hip new cocktail and give it a catchy name. What's in it and (if applicable or not immediately apparent) why is the name appropriate?

Agent Orange 17-10-2007, 14:42 Invent a hip new cocktail and give it a catchy name. What's in it and (if applicable or not immediately apparent) why is the name appropriate? Back in the day when my friends and I were young and broke we used to find imaginative ways of getting drunk on very little so we used to chuck everything together regardless of whether they mixed or not. Anyway, we only did this once or twice, but the end result could only be described at best as swamp water. Hardly a great advert and I would imagine that it didn't taste much better either :D HappyHoosier 17-10-2007, 14:48 Will it get printed in your magazine Happy ? No promises, Poppins, but I'll do what I can. We don't really like to promote strong drink, I'm afraid. We prefer our readers get high on carbohydrates. poppins 17-10-2007, 14:52 Wait till they all come back from the pubs tonight, they'll get some good ideas.:D HappyHoosier 17-10-2007, 15:00 I think I'd call mine an Indiana Jonesing. It would contain native Hoosier ingredients -- 1 part pure corn liquor and 3 parts persimmon juice -- and be garnished with a stalk of dried hay. Excellent when paired with a deep-fried pork tenderloin sandwich or dried soybeans. feargal 17-10-2007, 15:04 Two parts sweet, one sour, a dash of bitters and topped up with something gassy. Maybe garnished with something fruity. It’d be called a “Sheffield Forum”. HappyHoosier 17-10-2007, 15:35 Two parts sweet, one sour, a dash of bitters and topped up with something gassy.
