I think Bolton have parted with him and I'm not surprised. Grew rather tired of his taking "positives" when it's been palpably clear he isn't up to the task. Wasn't he another one, backed to the hilt by the chairman in an anti-Allardyce snipe?

Latest rumor is they want Chris Coleman who is not doing that great at Atletico. This is probably due to it being a foreign club which some British managers are not suited to. Think he would do ok at Bolton.

Chris Coleman is at Real Sociedad, not Athletico.

They are in Spanish Div 2, and arent doing that badly. Won 4 from first 7.

Soz, thanks for correcting me. I knew it was a Spanish club.

In a brief exchange with Gary on Monday evening, I mentioned rather unkindly that Bolton were doing almost as badly as Sheffield Wednesday. At the mention of the word Sheffield he immediately went on the defensive so maybe a Sheffield club has approached him. Can't see them paying his wages though.

Apparently they asked permission to talk to Steve Bruce, but Birmingham have denied it .. although Bruce is far from committed to B'ham until he finds out what their future plans are.
