Just in the process of cooking a Chicken Balti
Not really haut cuisine, but dead simple.

2 chicken breasts - diced
Jar of Pataks Sauce
1 onion

serve with basmati rice and naan breads, cold beer optional.

Whats your favourite dish? What do you like to prepare?

I also like to do a nice Homemade Lasagne but this takes up more time.

Just of to check the curry!!

My speciality is homemade pizza with sun dried tomato pesto, buffalo mozzarella, mushroom and sweet corn...
For the pesto...
50g sun dried tomato
25g pine nuts
25g Fresh basil
around 100ml Olive Oil
couple of teaspoons worth of grated parmesan
mix with hand blender
The pesto can also be mixed in with pasta as an accompaniment to any dish

I love cooking. My favourite dish to prepare and eat is Tagliatelle Carbonara.
Smokey Bacon, Mushrooms, peppers, Onions and a couple of packets of Dolmios Carbonara sauce (tried others they are not as good) Fresh Mozerralla Cheese for the top (the stuff in the salt water not the dry stuff) and fresh Tagliatelle.

I also love making Steak and Guiness with mash and veges for the hubby. Love cooking Sunday roasts too!!

He makes a wonderful steak, mushrooms and chips.

I cannot stand folk who don't eat. I am of the belief that if your dinner plate don't need scafolding to keep the food on then it just isn't worth the effort!!

I shall call it Deperate Dan Pie ala Mikey

1KG of Shin Beef
2 large Onions
A few carrots
Loads of Potatoes
Packet of instant pastry mix

Brown meat, and stew it slowly - long time
Fry onions and chuck into pan along with carrotts and potatoes
Cook until veg are done
Add seasoning - anything you can lay your hands on salt/pepper/gravy granules for extra thickness/Hendersons

Put it all in a big dish and top with instant pasty mix and cook in oven.
