Has this ever happened? The solution to every team's problems seems to be to sack the manager, but that isn't the end to their carreer, so do they ever wind up coming back?

Howard Kendall has managed Everton 3 times most recently leaving us (sheffield united) to manage them. Im not sure if he was sacked or resigned though
