HI,
The proper name is stag horn sumac (sumach?).
I bought mine from one of the garden centres on the bradfield road in loxley valley. Cost about a tenner for a 4 foot tree. Gone a lovely red colour now.

It could well be a variety of what I know as Rhus (tree of Heaven)
Linky thing>> http://www.dkimages.com/discover/Home/Plants/Ornamental-Groups/Trees/Broadleaves/Anacardiaceae/Rhus/Rhus-typhina/Rhus-typhina-3.html
If it is I have several suckers growing in my garden from my own tree.
They are a few inches tall so if you want one of those let me know :) - dig it up yourself & it's free :D
