I have replaced my defective harddrive with a spare and renstalled windows XP, Ive installed the service packs and everything is fine apart from the onboard sound which has gone? I have download the drivers from the motherboard web site and installed them, everything in device manager says it is working fine but still no sound. I have ran through all the trouble shooting guides in windows and all the boxes are ticked an everything is enabled. has my onboard sound packed in or am I still missing something?
