erm i thought salisbury was down south not in zimbabwe?

Harare was called Salisbury when it was under British rule; Mugabe changed it (or put it back?) to a native name.

Get yer coat!!!!

The name of the city was changed to Harare on April 18, 1982 .....

Around the same time the name of Hwange was adopted, having previously been known as W ankie.

I'm struggling to match either name up to a song though.

Meanwhile...

The Divine Comedy did a song called Victoria Falls.
