the soldier who took the latest pictures of abuse of Iraqis and then took the film into his local Boots to get it developed! The film developer then passed them on to the police.
Perhaps he hasn't heard of digital cameras.
On a more serious note, his stupidity will lead to many more deaths in Iraq. Well done that soldier!
The thing that is worrying is the countless things that must have gone on and not captured on film
sham71 - a deliberate 'passing' reference to sham69 by any chance??

That is neither funny nor clever, Lestat. Whilst we may mot agree with the current situation, our armed forces have played an enormous part in ensuring you can say that without 'disappearing'.

If thise proves to be true, then its a sad day for the armed forces, to be let down by this minority of ignorant scum.

I got the impression he meant US soldiers.
Therefore I do not think it was bad taste but a joke.
As for the most stupid soldier, Doh, maybe the poster of the thread is more dumb than that soldier?
1. For not realising that there are always innocent casualties of war and criminals alike.
2. Calling the pictured dumb when he has probably sen a couple of his mates blown to buggery from suicide bombers and mortars etc...
I do not agree with the war any more, more and more of this propaganda filth fills some peoples minds though!
GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I didn't realise Boots had branches in the US.
There is a British case to answer too, and that was reported on Hallam FM's news this morning. I think it may have arrived in court today - wasn't listening properly.
