I need a bright daylit space in Central Sheffield to record some television interviews in. It needs to be quiet and private and we need it between 10 am and 6pm. I have been ringing round places but everything is either too dark or too expensive. Can anyone think of any options? Could be function room in modern bar or restaurant but I am trying to avoid dull conference/ meeting-room type spaces.

you could try my university. Sheffield Hallam University. There is a nice/posh resteraunt on Level 6 of the main City campus building.

Tudor Square is good outdoor space and as public highway you don't need permission unless causing obstruction.
