Anybody know if the 24SelfVideo shop at broomhill has closed for good?
This is the DVD rental place that is supposed to be open 24 hours / 7 days a week. Your card operates the door entry. You then select your movies from a computer screen and the DVD is delivered through a vending machine.
Problem is I went tonight and the lights where off, the computers where off and the door entry didn't work.

I have emailed them to ask if they are closed down for good. I hope they aren't... I have some money left on my card! :(

I'd never heard of this, but it sounds like a fab idea; surely it must make more money than a staffed shop? Is it part of a chain?

I don't recall ever seeing it open.
Pretty sure it was open when I drove past last night.

It was closed for one night due to an electrical fault, but is now open again as normal.

Gone again today,
Note on the door stating closed until further notice.
They are trying to fix the electrical fault ASAP.

Ousetunes: Never really looks open.
Staff only in the shop at certain times.
Use your membership card to open the door 24/7
They have the blue lights on at night (stop it being used as a drug den).
The best thing is the price.
