I Noticed this evening that the U shaped road around the city hall has been blocked, meaining no access to fountain preciect / barkers pool from Division Street :rant:

How do the taxi drivers coming from the north of the city now get the to the taxi bay in Barkers Pool?

They have painted double yellow lines bang in the centre of the road, but only temory blocks at the moment...

they have been renovating it for some time now, well lets hope so!

Well it takes a long time for a big old building like that to be finished. They are meant to be done by September to allow for the November 11th rememberence services at the War Memorial.

Wish they would close some of the awful 'back streets' in hillsborough and re-surface them.

I say 'back streets' because most of them are where you are forced down if you want to obey the Hillsborough Corner tram gate.

Any news on putting an enforcement camera here?
