'Sharrow Matchmaker' is a community art project set to explore the relationship between SUFC and its nearby community of Sharrow, to reveal and transform the rites and rituals happening on a match day in all kinds of creative way. The project is funded by SUFC, Sharrow Forum and Arts Council England and is currently making a lot of noise in Sharrow. The project Photographer Yan Preston has set up a theme of 'Women and Football', and she is looking for 'football widows' to share their love and hate towards that ball, and possibly to take photographs for ladies. Hi! I just had an interview with another yesterday---her partner is a big blade fan. it's so interesting to know stories from the women side that i'm also interested in the stories from men's side now! Anyway, how can I get to talk to your girlfriend? Normally we'll have a very informal 'interview', then some photo-shooting. All the photos will be used only for the project, probably in the exhibition at Bramall Lane in Jan 08.
