I have noticed in the past few months a row of coaches parked outside the entrance to the Thorpe Hesley schools- just as you go up from the M1 junction, on the left hand side.
These coaches (on which I have never seen any children) block a lane of traffic and cause a delay in my journey to work every morning. There also seems to be a bloke in a high vis jacket on the opposite side, but he doesn't direct the traffic and he's not seeing kids across the road. What is he doing there?
I'm just wondering if these coaches will be there long-term in which case I may have to revise my journey to work!!

The authorities found asbestos nin the school when they were doing work ver the summer. The junior school children are having to be bussed to other schools until it is sorted out.

Ah! Thanks for that- wondered if it was something like that- hope it gets sorted out soon cos it must be really disruptive for everyone.
Meanwhile, I have found an alternative route which I'm pleased to say is much quicker!
