Has anyone on here travelled up to Bishop Auckland in September to the "Stormin Castle" motorcycle rally?
It is not just for motorcyclists, it is like a weekend holiday village with around 6000 people camping in three fields (98% bikers) in the grounds of Witton Castle. Me and my lad have been for the last 4 years i wondered if anyone else had.

Not done "the Castle", nearest to there has been "The Farmyard Party" (a couple of times), still Yorkshire MAG, and very good.

Other than that, R&BCS, Bulldog, and the old "Angels" do down in Kent (when they used to do it), BMF Memba rally, plus a few smaller local jobbies.

Done any of those ?

I did some smaller rallies last year, Blackpool MAG "The big One" about 100 of us there. The lads i know (From Hoyland) do the farmyard and perverts in leather and the bulldog bash.
Might not go to the castle this year beer prices went up from £1 a can last year to £1.50 a can this year, think it might put a lot off, saying that they were 7500 there last september so we will see.
