I was never a big fan of the Happy Mondays, or Black Grape come to think of it. I always found Robert Newman's skit about Bez getting a job as a signalman on the railways highly amusing.

But I never really had a strong opinion on the fellow until I caught a few minutes of Celebrity BB.

At first it seemed that there was a simple but quite affable chap there behind that spotty and somewhat vacant face; a peacemaker and an everyman character.

But I was watching last night as he found that the other housemates had nominated him for eviction and I was quite taken aback at the change that came over him. Suddenly the teeth were out and the people that he'd been getting on with were the scum of the earth to him.

He then proceeded to spit his dummy in quite spectacular fashion and while the other housemates carried on regardless, he pranced around in front of the cameras making obscene gestures and vague threats.

Is this normal behaviour for the guy?

Did he not realise that he was likely to be nominated for eviction sooner or later as that is a pretty big part of the show's format?

Carmine he's given me the creeps since I first saw him.

Even if you disregard the fact that the mans brain function has been seriously impaired by all the drugs he's taken, he looks like the sort of bloke who can turn nasty at a moments notice.

BB just won't be the same without John.

That was the thing that disturbed me to be honest.

My partner worked on the frontline in a job centre and dealt with many people whom she described as similar. At first they seem all easygoing swagger and attitude, but the second they're not getting exactly what they think they should, things get nasty.

watched this last night

The contrast with him and the other housemates was most apparent when they were in that blue room 'discovering' their inner self all love peace and harmony clad in pink frocks while Bez was eyeballing the cameras giving the come on and going nuts - classic!

His biograghy is one of the best music books I've read. It's called freaky dancing. Fopp or music zone usually have it in for about £3

I too couldn't believe the change in him. I was quite warming to him before this, but now I hope he goes as soon as possible back to obscurity

It's just a REAL shame what long term drug abuse can do to a person, as he's just showed us all on TV. He admitted himself that he'd be going *cold turkey* in the house, and it's obviously just hit him <he started going a bit loopy a few days ago, before nominations> I never knew much about him <asides from the *funny dancer* stuff> til he was in that house, but he seemed like such a pleasant likeable chap, he was very good even with the intolerable Jackie !! His threats to the housemates after nominations tho were pathetic, and sad.

yea i thought he was class when he first went in - he's turning out to be a bit of a nutter with a huge attitude problem (didn't see it on tv last night mind)

he's a complete loser. and if he has 2 kids like i heard sum1 say then they are doomed with a dad like that!

complete druggie waster. any brain cells he had have long since departed.

i say keep him in. maybe the cold turkey approach will bring some of his senses back.:loopy:

There was something on the front of one of the papers about BB being fixed. Anyone have anything more on this?

I find it funny how acceptable it is when 'legal' drug addicts (fags and alcohol) go up the wall when they are on Big Brother and they can't get their fix.

Not to mention great ex-footballer alcoholics who get transplants on the NHS.

I'm glad Bez won!!
