the first history month for LGBT, nice that school are involved. Education education!

I'm very suspicious of these lists of famous gay people, half of them are dead so we can't ask them.

remember its history.... kids should be educated, instead of just listening to their parents. homophobia can be as bad as racism in 2ndary schools. hopefully, one day, history will all be learned together and not seperated to black and white and LGBT.

Surely there are better things to worry about than whether or not famous person X was a woopsie or not?

a woopsie??? hehe whats that? thats what we call poohs in our house! i just think they using it to show kids and teenages there is nothing wrong with being who you are. just be:D

Well of course there is (although why anyone would 'worry' about it I don't know) but I don't think thats really the point.

I was raising the issue of people not trusting the lists of gay and deceased celebrities as accurate, not disagreeing that such things should be taught in schools.

The name of that clause the Conservatives clung to that prohibited the teaching of alternative lifestyles in schools was (IMO) like trying to teach kids that the sky is green and the sea is orange.

This is a bit cheesy (and a bit too PC for me) ......
