HarmOKnee 10-10-2007, 15:42 It was on Calendar news last night. Stupid little idiots, they haven't got a clue have they?
PuressenceUK 10-10-2007, 17:45 I think it's also known as 'natural selection'. Eliminating the people too stupid to realise this is dangerous from the gene pool.
debbie6899 10-10-2007, 18:42 They have been identified and spoken too. My child goes to their school, the head phoned the police and gave them their names. I just think it was plain ignorance rather than anything else. lets hope they had a good talking too and the other kids pay attention too. ps it was shiregreen area.
foxydebs 12-10-2007, 17:51 I live in shiregreen and i was told it was more towards eccelsfield area.
cgksheff 12-10-2007, 17:55 Incident was at Ecclesfield:

Picture was probably taken from this bridge (http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=53.441308~-1.447988&style=h&lvl=18&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=7625787&encType=1)?
Maybe debbie6899 was referring to the school?

Now that is spot on:hihi:
debbie6899 12-10-2007, 18:19 yes i meant the school and children are from shiregreen. And i agree plain ignorance kills but hopefully it will make kids more aware in the future of the actual danger they are in.

And how many Data Protection/Child Confidentiality rules did that break?
cgksheff 12-10-2007, 19:32 And how many Data Protection/Child Confidentiality rules did that break?
In total?
None.
satman2222 12-10-2007, 19:37 Funny - when I asked at a certain school for some offenders to be identified to the police from some CCTV stills, I was given all sorts of excuses..................

we used to sit on the bridge and watch the trains going underneath when we were kids,
good memories :)

sheffield84 12-10-2007, 20:22 who could really care less! the kids are of an age to know better, and by the way, the star quoted trains as travelling at 100mph. since when!?

I guess their parents might - if they only knew where they are...........
sheffield84 12-10-2007, 20:57 exactley! i work for the railway, we get this all the time, every day, thick kids

Ahh the law of Darwinism.... for more silly stories of people more irrisponsible and older than these children read the Darwin Awards collection there are some corkers in there
4wotitsworth 12-10-2007, 21:10 At least it keeps them off the roads.
sheffield84 12-10-2007, 21:15 its a certain sector of society, im affraid that think the railway is a play ground! then when one gets killed the scummy familly will try sueing the railway for not putting a sign up telling kids not to do so. course, its a good rise on their social security.
A friend of mine's father-in-law was killed by a train some years ago.
He was a railway worker, but he couldn't have heard it, the coroner ruled it an accident.
Its a horrible way to die, devastating for the driver of these trains and almost destroyed my friends husband, his son.

Them New Virgin trains they are on about can reach speeds over 100mph.
ultracynic 13-10-2007, 09:41 Them New Virgin trains they are on about can reach speeds over 100mph.
if they aren't stuck behind a local train stopping at various backwaters every 5 mins
sheffield84 13-10-2007, 11:01 the virgin trains have nothing to do wit it, they dont go that way and the line limit isn't 100mph
