doe's anyone think that disabled drivers should be entitled to a rebate on fuel prices.

some disabled drivers are starting to feel the pinch as fuel is going up, a car is like legs to a disabled driver and there last bit of independence.

just wondered what others thoughts were.

do you mean just disabled drivers or disabled passengers as well?

good point!

lets say mobility cars, they include passengers who own them, but don't drive them.

The thing with this is, if they give a rebate to one set of drivers that rely on their cars, they'd have to give a rebate to others too..

Disabled drivers rely on their cars to get around, but taxi drivers also rely on their cars to make a living..

Everyone would argue that they should get a rebate because they all rely on their cars for one reason or another...

It's certainly getting noticeable how much more month there is left at the end of the money as a result of all sorts of fuel cost increases (both heating fuels and petrol).

I had my first tank fill up that started with a 6 the other day- that's not a nice figure to think about!

taxi drivers can sub the fuel increase by putting there fares up, like they do and like bus fares go up. a disabled driver hasn't got that option, they pay out from the little money they get.

i can see your point.
