wondertec 09-10-2007, 21:51 Have rung Niagra today and they are booked up the wkend before and after my birthday, also you have to have their DJ and catering, so back to the drawing board...
Thought of Polish Club, Eccie road or Pitz ground, but can't find the number for Pitz anywhere...
Only other option i thought of was SWFC but i'm a blade and thought this a bit bad of me!!

what sort of venue are you looking for and when ? i work in a restaurant and depending when and for how many we are happy to accomodate partys. the restaurant is on abbeydale road you can pm me for more info.
i know that the cutler pub in towm hires out the stardust for free but im not sure if ther are any conditions with it.

They certainly do. Its a good size and they have a revolving dancefloor.

The Moon is good, not that many years ago we had Mum's 50th Birthday bash there and it was decent, cheap beer, good sized dance floor, decent nibblies and the DJ had some good tunes.. OK it was all cheesy 80s stuff and silly dances like YMCA, Agadoo and the Birdy song but that's what happens at almost every "do" I've ever been to.
It would have still been The Office then, but as I said The Moon is currently refurbishing their function room which was left in a state of disrepair by The Office.

£65 for the room, it holds 130 and £95 for a DJ and you can do your own catering.

try the new kareoke bar down cliff its really cheap to have your party there they dont close it to public but i think the room is free you just pay for your food i think its called mjs not been open long n its a fun night xx if you dont mind kareoke x

It's a great room,I had both my wedding and my 40th birthday there and really enjoyed it on both occassions.I'm sure you will too.:)
