View Full Version : Where to get clubbing gear (i.e. clothes and UV reactive stuff ect..)
Hello there I am faily new to the Sheffield clubbing scene and have got a little addicted to going to Planet Zogg, i also attend Corporation from time to time.
What i was wondering is what er the best places in Sheffield to pick up interesting clubbing gear, specifically i am looking for ultraviolet reactive clothes and glowing/flashing clubbing devices (glowsticks, UV hair gel/paint) and any other odditites to rave the night away with ^.^
Any ideas as to where one could aquire such devices (or for that matter any good ideas for DIY stff :)
anyway i am sure more than me may find this kinda info helpful

(and if this information appears somewhere else on the forum, i'm sorry i looked, yet i could not see)
You'll be hard pressed to find UV stuff these days. It was all quite common about 5-6 years ago - but difficult to find now, and even more so in Sheffield.
Probably your best bet is to go to Cyberdog in Leeds or Manchester which does loads fo UV clubby clothes (but even they are going for more of a "street" look these days). Hobgoblin who do a stall at Zogg are based up in Harrogate and their shop up there has a fair bit of party clothes and toys.
Or save up your cash and take advantage of the £15 return to London fare that Midlandmainline are doing & go to Camden market in London.
I have loads of old cyber stuff i probably be parted with.=, especially the gells and paint and stuff!
uvstalls and cyberdog are your best bets for clothing online for new stuff, or ebay is another good source.
How big are you cos i have some old stuff that i will never wear again!!!
for your info.... was in corn exchange in leeds on sunday, and cyber dog is closing down, so you'll maybe get a good bargain. it's on the lower level of corn exchange.

scottf: i'm definatly interested in the UV paints if nothing else, i would PM you my phone number to sort out a meet but due to the fact that this is my 2nd post and you need to make 5 to do the PM thing, but if you could drop me a PM with how to contact you, would be most helpful.

what makes you think that?
just because i dont want to look like a puffin crossing doesnt mean i look like a chav!!
zombie_lurve 20-01-2005, 08:19 Try Ultravixen in the Forum, and at Rocky Horrors opposite. Both sell clubbing gear, and quite possibly some with UV reactive strips.
Hope that helps.
