Has anyone got a copy of this to hand? I think it was published in 2001.

I'm looking at a pic of the Machu Picchu ear flap hat, desparately trying to work out if it's knitted on circular needles or straight. Could someone confirm one way or t'other for me? (Reason being, I hate using circular pins and don't want to splash out for the pattern on ebay if that's what it needs!)

Ta muchly!
Cheers, Carrie

Even if it is on circulars, you can easily make it on straight needles and sew it up. Just remember to add two stitches to the number to cast on to allow for seaming. It just might require a little working out as to where the ear flaps go.

I don't have the book, but I am willing to bet my whole stash that it's knit on straights. I've never seen a Rowan pattern that wasn't worked flat.
