Can anyone remember a Doctor Saxena in the Sharrow lane Washington Rd area late 70,s - Looking to retrieve medical records and or info as to whether the surgery still exists and if not - where those records may be held now.

Your medical records should be with your current GP (the Health authority transfer them).

medical records of deceased people are returned to central records and destroyed - eventually - but not sure of the timescale.

Dr Saxena still practices in Sheffield with Dr Saxena, husband and wife

Yep - thx for help - The surgery were most helpful but the timescale is 25 years after death when records are destroyed (according to Brincliffe House)
