It was ? Shows how much attention I pay, I thought it was a passing shower looking out of my window.

Are you mad ? :loopy:

If it snows at Crookes it had better be before I go to work because I am not walking back up the hill when I get the car stuck at work!

Sheffield gets an inch of snow and grinds to a standstill then everyone starts moaning. Well I'm going to beat them to it
Moan, moan, moan, moan, I hate snow, I hate the cold, I hate shovelling snow, I hate leaving the house with snow on the ground, I hate shopping, going to friends, going to the pub when it snows, I hate sledging, skating, curling and skiing, if i could be an animal I'd be a grizzly bear then I could hibernate and miss the snowy period fort the most part, hope this get's my point across.

Ooooohhhh!!! When/where did you try this WB? It's not easy to come by :)

I hate snow you can't ski on. So that's pretty much all English snow. Most of sheffield's hills don't have ski lifts on. When is Howard St getting one?

I suppose a day ticket for the tram would be handy for City Rd :hihi: All the way down to Park Square!!

I don't have to try things to know I'd hate them, I've seen it on thre television and they do it on nasty icy slippy stuff, that's all I need to know. I do remember a few years ago some idiot on the news program Calendar who lived at Ranmoor and did some cross country skiing to get to work, he looked a complete and utter prat..

Only if it's made of wood and I fancy an open fire.
When the kids use my side of the road as a sledging run I am SO tempted.

Well had a couple of inches up in x-pool. Out with camera later today!

Hate the stuff when it comes to driving - mainly as main roads are blocked, and not sure if they've gritted yet.

I love snow.
Meersbrook park, several assorted nieces and nephews, a foot of snow and a sledge is all you need for a great afternoon out.

Yeah, it comes over the hill where Shirecliffe college used to be, and then the city centre buildings start to dissapear, and you know you've got about 5 minutes before it gets to you.

We're just drinking the hot chocolates after having been out with the kids and dog.
That wind is k-k-k-cold and the snow is coming wet & heavy.

I think we've had our fun for the day.

Every couple of minutes I think - the image should be time stamped if you look closely.

It's raining here in Derby. From the traffic cameras it looks like it is also raining in Sheffield. Now watch all that surface water freeze over into ice as soon as it goes dark tonight...
