Hopefully will be renting in Bromhall soon, just off Williams street and next to Exeter Way S10. Does anyone have any information on the immediate area? whats your experiences please share any info you may have.

Al I know is that this used to be the prostitution/drug dealing centre of Sheffield- but that was a long time ago. Maybe the proximity to the University has cleaned it up a little.
Advantages? It's near town and Devonshire green/Division street, so you will never be bored!!

To be fair its been a while since this has been a no go area.

This bit of town has been gentryfied/sanitised enormously

thanks for the replies, had a visit and it seems to be very nice, its a few minutes from devonshire and west street and close to everything, no more bus fares as can walk most places around town.

I am not sure what it was like before but there are lots of luxury flats surrounding Williams st and it seems they have put in a bit of money to the area.

Lovely place to live ideally located lived on William St for 15 years before moving to a bigger house.
