Can anyone tell me what this club is like.. My sister wants me to go on Saturday, however I am unsure about the type of music. I am usually into house(all types of course)/break-beat. I have looked at their website but the mr zippy bags worry me a tad!tee hee

Go to Urban Gorilla on Friday instead would be my advice. Zogg is brill, wonderful crowd, lots of chilled people out for a good time, no stress, no hassle but you wont hear much house music being played!!! I shall be at Zogg having a great time and if you don't go then more room for me.
YEY

The problem is lack of venues! Zogg is at Club Zero. Sheffield so needs new venues but in the mean time Zero will have to do.

YEY for Zogg.

I'm a bit biased... but Zogg has a very friendly and up-for-it crowd, as well as loads of decor & visuals.

It also has one of the most mixed crowds of any night you're likely to go to - you're as likely to get someone in a strappy dress as someone with dreads. Theres the odd cyber kid and zippy bag type person (!) but then theres just about everyone else in there as well.

The music is pretty full on, but in an interesting way.

When it was at the Arches there was an upstairs funky room- which often had house DJs on - as well as the main room - but since its been at Zero - its full on trance/techno all the way.

Give it a go & see what you think - even if its not for you - it wont be boring night!

i really like it as a venue, very friandly, security are nice and atmosphere seems just right, although a little warm for me (raised in scotland so can't handle the heat)
And I finish at 11:30 so do your best to make it before then

Erm, normally Filthy Acid Techno, but I shall be altering my set to fit in with the Zogg vibe, currently fiddling around with guitar fueled Acid Techno/Trance.
But we shall see

Zogg is a wicked night- zero is a top club since they moved the DJ box, not much seating but who cares about seating!!!

Bancing fast trance/techno is the order of the day at zogg!!!

Top marks to Planet Zogg from me.. always have had an ace night there.. like somebody said, you're likely to see as many skater t-shirts as hoopy earrings as zippy bags :)

Love the music, always gets me really giddy.. and maybe I've got the story wrong here, but I heard that Zogg got refused their night back at the Arches..?

Talk about landing on your feet.. regular night, LOVELY club, good crowd, no HC.. good work boys!

Not quite... the Arches was a great club as a clubber but not the most stable or easiest place to put events on.

The last straw was the Arches deciding to suddenly temporarily close 3 days before the November 2003 Zogg... Dil & Greg were offered Zero and decided to try a change and things have worked out well...

Hi,

SPYW BISPY A is spyware and so must have been on your computer already. On my site is a simple text link to a MP3 music file - check for yourself. This kind of link simply activates Internet Explorer to open that file. As you might know, spyware attaches itself frequently to Internet Explorer and they often 'hijack' downloads. There are pleanty of good websites for you to read about this sort of thing, a good starting point is www.spychecker.com.

"The trojan is a dll file that is installed as Browser Helper Object in IE, and it is taken from the link http://www.stop-popup-ads-now.com

It collects information from the infected computer and it sends it to a server."

Looks like your IE has been hijacked to redirect you to that site. Might need a good clean out.

May I recommend SpyBot (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html)
and Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) to solve these problems

Yeah I did run AD Ware after and found 20 objects... sorry to say it was your site, I will try again tonight...bloody bugs
Thanks and sorry for putting that comment live.

I would also recommend that you scan your computer in safe mode as AdAware and Spybot often fail to remove nasties which are already lurking in your system following a full system boot. Get in to safe mode by holding F8 down on the screen before you would see the Windows boot up screen. Oh yeah, ditch using Internet Explorer too, it's a bag of the proverbial. I heartily recommend Firefox which is free, is miles better, has effective pop up blockers and tabbed website viewing.

Glad you had a good time - only slight downside at Zero is the lack of a second room - when Zogg was at the arches (which had two rooms) - house djs like Chris Smith, Tomski, Solid State, Ev, Cj etc were regular guests upstairs - which I quite miss.

Havin said that - the good thing about Zero (a well as being a great venue) is that when the dancelfoor takes off - the whole venue does - and its was great seeing the dancelfoor still packed & going for it at 5am!
