Does anybody know if the council houses around Norfolk Park, like Samuel, Beldon etc are getting knocked down as part of the new regeneration going on round there. We keep hearing rumours that all the flat roof houses will be getting knocked down like the flats were. But there are conflicting stories and I think some of the houses are privately owned (or private landlords) and some people say they won't be going and the regeneration will be built round them.

Just curious if anybody knows what's really going to happen - or if a final decision hasn't been made yet.

I should ask your local Neighbourhood office (Howden House, or Manor Library) or contact Sheffield Homes here: enquiries@sheffieldhomes.org.uk

I was made offers from property shop for houses on both Beldon and Samuel not so long ago and they never mentioned anything to me about them being demolished so I don't think they are. They are still advertising properties in that area on property shop and don't think they would be if they were demolishing them as they'd then have to re-house people :) I think they are doing them up soon though.

Hi

I work in Norfolk Park area and have not heard any mention of demolishing above mentioned properties.

Most have been refurbished except privately owned propoerties.

But if you want an official response I shoule email Sheffield City Council and ask?:)
