I have just built a large Chicken house and a 10x6 ft run so all i need now is the Chickens we would like to start with 4. do you know who sells them also the feeders and feed ?

u can get feed from a corn man etc ill get u the number of ones my dad gets his off and see if hes got ne chickens as he was getting rid of his allotment

There are sometimes chickens for sale at Graves Park, they may also be able to sort you out with some food til you can get some.

yes i gave them a bell today chap i spoke to said yes they do sell them,i have to go and have a chat with there chicken man

Maybe you could consider saving some from the battery farms and giving them a nice life, they are usually good layers ;) When I used to keep chickens we had lots of them from the battery farm and it was great to see them have the freedom they deserve. Lots of feed merchants sell chicken feed it would depend where you are? We used to feed ours on corn and pellets and also a "mash" veg peelings mashed up with warm water, they loved it particularly in the winter.
