Anyone else see Trey Parker and Matt Stone's latest offering?

I thought it was a little hit and miss, but two points are still making me laugh.

1) Matt Damon and his sage comments

2) "Fat Socialist Weasel" Michael Moore

The soundtrack (including "America, F**k Yeah!") amused as usual...but what did the forum think?

I really want to see it, The Times said it was rubbish, you're hit and miss, and jonothan Ross said it was excellent.

I'm inclined to agree with him from what i've seen.

I generally agree with Mr Woss on most things cinematic (he has good taste in suits and women as well...I'll get stick from my dearest for that one later tonight), but that was the feeling that the movie left me with.

I'd be pleased to hear what you thought of it when you've seen the film.

Hans Blix and the Korean Dictator were very amusing...the laughs were just a little spread out.

Aww, tellin...

Making illegal copies of DVDs is bad and nasty, and costs fat American stuido executives and overpaid actors lots of money that would otherwise have been pumped back into the film industry in order to finance sequels to worthless movies such as Triple X and another twelve Blade movies.

To quote Homer J Simpson: "By the way, I was being sarcastic."

another classic simpsons moment:

on failing to complete the 'Radioactive Man' movie the studio execs return to hollywood, broke.

"Here you go buddy, heres some money until you get yourself back on your feet"
"Hollywood, what a friendly Place"

Something like that.

And funny.

I thought Team America was pretty lame actually.. As usual all the funny bits were in the trailer.. Very mis-leading :shakes:

Thought it was ok, but relied on the puppets tackyness (dont know if thats a word) not the script to be funny.

"There's no 'I' in 'Team America!"

That line was worth the fiver in itself.

Just a thought, but, if they make a sequel to xXx (or Triple X)...

...won't Castlemain have something to say about it ?

I'm afraid they already have, they showed the trailer before Team America...the original and very impressive title is: "Triple X 2"...and it stars Ice Cube rather than the overrated Mr Super-Unleaded.

Ah, that's OK then, I had visions of it being called xXxX (four X), staring Hulk Hogan, or some-such, and being sponsored by Castlemain (actually, thinking about it, my version might have been better).

Reminds me of the A-Team episode that had Hogan as a guest star...the sight of him and Mr T haring around in the A-Team van still creases me up...Dumb & Dumber on steroids.
