Just a note to warn allotment holders in Firshill, Herries and Grimesthorpe, we have had vandals on the RoeWood Allotments on Thursday 4 October, when at least six allotments were attacked, doors to plots and sheds broken, but fortunately very little damage done more nuisance than anything else.

more break ins on the Roewood Allotment site night of Saturday, 6 Oct. now it appears that our intruders are taking tools etc. Police and Nieghbourhood Watch informed

I'm on grimesthorpe, where stil, our fantastically secure site very high spec gate keeps getting left wide open because the lazy sods KEEP leaving the gate open.

We have the same problem at Infield Lane.We've spent thousands on new fencing and gates,they shut the gates,put the locking bar in place,and then don't bother to turn the key! You despair at times.:confused:
