this was a cracking film and deserves to win. went to watch it 'by accident'- too late to see the film we planned to watch and we were well chuffed

Just out of interest... what is the Sheffield connection to the film? I'm not questioning it, was just curious because it was filmed in Derbyshire and the writer is from Nottingham... wondering if it was made by a Sheffield company or something?

I only found out about the day before it's last screening at Showroom. It really is a cracking film that deserves more attention, hopefully winning this Bafta will bring it more into the public eye.

Just been shown at UGC this week.
Absolutely class. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

Not so mate! Warp Records did the flit to London, but Warp Films - despite being part of their empire - is run by a producer called Mark Herbert who lives and works in Sheffield.

It's quite mad really because they won a BAFTA a couple of years ago with Chris Morris' short film 'My Wrongs...'. And now they could snaffle another. Just shows what can be achieved with some vision and a big dollop of creative freedom. :)

Did Made in Sheffield win any awards, one of the best music films I've seen.

DMS is one of the worst films I've ever seen. I hope it sinks without trace
