No sympathy for Blackburn going out though, after they pulled David Bentley out of the England Under 21 squad three days before the European Championship tournament , to rest him for their Inter Toto match against some part timers to even get this far.

I think with Blackburn their style of play is very physical a lot of teams in the Premiership will not give it back to them but when they come up against teams from places like Croatria they haven't got the technical ability of the Premiership teams and aren't afraid to give them some back. Blackburn are used to having there own way a bit in the Premiership in my opinion and I don't rate that defender Samba.

Bolton could see the Uefa as a welcome distraction but they'd best not get to distracted or they'll be visiting Bramall Lane and Hillsborough next year.
