The Times (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article2537973.ece) has produced a list of the 50 best ever football strips. SUFC appear at #39 for their 1972 outfit.
Strangely, very few modern, advert-laden kits appear on the list. :hihi:
Although I'd have expected to see Barca at #1, myself...
ps. anyone spot the egregious error in the article?

There are too many errors for words. I'm sure Davor Suker would be annoyed that he had been defined as an awful Barnsley player. As for besmirching Trevor Hockey's name .......
An iconic kit - Brazil at home. Just about the only one not to have been tarnished, yet reached the heights. My favourites, Croatia 1996, Peru's red diagonal, the Airdrieonians' traditional Diamond shirt, Sheffield United's lace up shirt from 92-94, Ireland's black away shirt from about 12 years ago (if not more).

I was expecting a decent article there. Didn't get one. Just some tosser trying to make puns about kits and players.
My favourite kit was the St Pauli one from 2 years ago, sponsored by Turbonegro.
It was black and where the sponsor was supposed to be, it said 'Love it to Deathpunk' and had a skull and crossbones as a club badge.
