over past few days my van has been making a squeaking noise
it sounds like a rusty swing and its coming from front end any ideas what this could be ?

i personally think it may be that but i know nothing :rolleyes: (because i'm a woman) it does seem to be more squeaky when i go over a pothole or bump etc but it has been more or less a constant squeak for the last week.
my steering does seem to pull to one side (has done for ages)but i think this is probably down to it needing its tracking doing i don't think the two are related:)

sounds like a duff/knacked shock absorber
what is it a camper ?

could be a goofed shock absorber, or indeed the front anti-roll bar. common on VW vehicles unfortunately.

Try greasing everything first.
Do not grease rubber bushings with std LM or even HM grease, use a silicone or lithium based grease.
