Can anyone recommend any pubs in sheffield for christmas dinners for groups of adults for nights out in sheffield in december , used to go to crosspool carvery but that is it no trimmings just plain old carvery. this is for people around 65+

Bowshaw, its a Toby carvery lovely food and lovely people anytime of the year.

Rush Hour on Chesterfield Road.

3 courses for £15, great food and a decent bar. Have seen the Xas menu and it's pretty bloody good. Also not been opened long so the chances of getting the exact booking you need will be likely.

As a group of ladies that have recently been going to The Rivelin Hotel for lunch,we highly recommend the fresh home cooked meals in a clean pleasant homely atmoshpere. Consequently we have booked our christmas party meal.Try the sunday lunch before you book I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
The landlord and landlady will accomodate your every need, very obliging.
