Hi, can anyone help. How much, where to get, what to get, how it works and how to install? Also what sort of computer you need tp beable to have it?

i have 2, got one given bought one from a general all purpose cheapy shop for about £7

work on most pcs / macs

usb connection, install the disc that comes with it

How do they work? do you have to have sound on like speaking to each other or can you just see eachother but write on msn at same time?

depends what its features are, how you set it up.

you can use the software provided to take stills or small video clips, go on say msn and they will see you moving etc.
i have a webpage which shows stills of mine which is refreshed every minute or so.

soundwise it depends...more expensive ones have built in microphones, cheaper ones you need to configure your microphone aswell (if you have one)

probably

tbh mine doesnt have sound so im not up on that, theres plenty of volume up / down and muting options in windows too, both for playing and recording sound
