does anyone know of a decent weekly pub quiz night thats not full of young uns drunk and loud, shouting and being laddish / laddettes

Try the Punchbowl on Hurlfield Rd. They have quizzes on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. But don't go next week (starting 17th) - pub is being refurbished and I think all the quizzes will be cancelled.

For quizzes in S12 you might want to check out rileys on a monday night, good quiz and good prizes. Not sure about the other areas tho.
