Is anybodyelse encountering problems with their Sky TV signal ? Mines been on & off for the past few hours.

purely for research purposes I was watching a programme about sex after marriage last night :suspect:

I left the room briefly and when I came back Nickelodeon was on instead :huh: the sky box was frozen and reverted back to channel 5 on it's own after a couple of minutes?

I've had an inconsistent service for the last few weeks and the box keeps freezing so I suspect one part of my kit is on it's way out

I watched that prog aswell & it seemed to quickly change to a little boy & girl acting like TV presenters,then suddenly changed back to the original prog.Well weird

mine went a week or so back.
ended up resetting it with no benefit. eventually paid sky to come and repair it.
new quad lnb fitted and a new box.

Just a quick tip - if your warranty has expired and you need an engineer to come out, tell Sky you will have to cancel rather than pay £75 for the engineer to come out, and they'll probably offer to send somone for free....they did with us

i was gonna do that (this visit cost £65btw) - but it was my second box that was faulty not the main one, so if i cancelled the subscription would only have been for the multi room.darn.
( i also hoped i'd get a newer box actually 'cos that one was past it, i even asked for a sky+ box but didn't get one)
