What do you all think of these (http://www.theanticraft.com/archive/beltane07/vinnland.htm)? I'm not generally a huge Anticraft fan, but they have a certain something. Can't see how difficult they'd be though.

I've had those bookmarked for a while, just haven't got to them yet.

I do like those - was just worried that they might be too 'textured' to be comfy so havent tried them yet either.

Knitbird, why doesn't your link work for me and even if I google anticraft, I can't get it  Perhaps it's feeling about as rubbish as me at the minute... :(

Have you been looking for UK only on google? Fairly sure the link's alright, but here's (http://www.theanticraft.com/archive/beltane07/vinnland.htm) another attempt.

I love the look of them, but they look difficult!

Wheezy, I couldn't get there either! Spend ages trying, but kept getting unavailable web page or you are not connected to the internet messages, and I am! Ho hum!

I like them - maybe they'll go on the list for future projects!

I too had trouble with the link yesterday, but today was fine (Weird!)

Finally got to see socks via a picture on a Canadian blog. Totally stuck as to why can't view Anticraft, but it crashes laptop...

Liked socks though, but have other things before them on list to do. Talking of lists, wonder where I am on Ravelry list now?

Still can't find this, so maramcp, can you link the Canadian blog or knitbird, can you try again. There's nothing worse than people talking about summat that you can't see:mad:

Still can't get onto Anticraft via any link at all! Bizarre.

If either of you have parental controls on your computer, chances are the anticraft will be automatically blocked. (Given that it has a chart saying "f**k cancer" and how to knit a penis, among other things.)

What :huh: No, I don't have parental control or any control come to think of it!

Having finally seen the foot coverings I'll not bother thanks - what a waste of typing time - next :gag::mad:

I like them a lot - I've had them on my list for a while. But my next sock project is supposed to be Alice Bell's Boyfriend Socks, which I meant to do in May and haven't even cast on for (oh dear, oh dear), so I rather doubt I'll ever get around to these lovelies.

Nice to see you back Madam Bo. Hope there are lots of knitterly opportunities in Bath!

Why, it's nice to be back! I've barely done any knitting here. I'm halfway through an entrelac scarf, but delicately cabled socks don't seem to be on the agenda.

I have to keep looking at this on anticraft as I cant believe it:

My daughter (who is into the whole goth/wicca thing) says its a celebration of life. I decided that it would be quite a good money saver though. I mean you wouldnt keep wanting to get your purse out to pay for your round would you?
