Just a thought.......if we still owe vast sums from the World Student Games (which I attended and thought were excellent)How does the government think it can host the games in London when it has a proven track record of not quite getting any event right. Maybe some economic sense could be employed and they could utilise our 'World Class' facilities and that of Manchester giving a great boost to our region.
