can anyone please tell me about the houses left up on old parson cross,we moved here nearly 12 month's ago.But has we are a block of 2 houses the next a block of 2 then a block of 4 houses then all the houses in front behind have been knocked down and they is 2 left at side which are waiting to come down so intotal they will only be 8 houses left and none of us can get any repairs done .We are all living waiting for a bomb to explode,ihave found out that these 8 houses where marked to come down but was told the council had changed there minds ,the trouble is i have a autistic son who has trouble with change so i need to know so that i can prepare him,ihave phoned the area office ,tenants association ,townhall to be told they don't know anything yet .But then when the electritcian came to inspect the houses the man said sorry this is late being done but on there map our houses don't exist ,we have also had heating engineers has this was a urgent case and he said exactly the same .so we are all confused the people who are left.Also we had a van going round about the area with plans and all they could say was nothing had been decided yet.

Surely you should just visit the local area housing office and find the person in charge.

thats a good idea if they new what was happening .also they tell you one thing and do another.
do you think when they have built the new estate on parsons cross they will leave a few old houses up even when they are modernised they are still old houses on a new estate.
what do you think a lot of people that have moved out thought they were safe because they had letters from the council saying there house was free from demolition but it is now flat how would you feel ?

The Council are an absolute joke!!! I live in Southey (just down the road from PX), I have had 2 rehousing visitors come and see me and they both said they are unable to tell me if my house is coming down!!!

thank you for your view since i posted this message i have been told buy the main person in charge we are not being knocked down and that we are on the 1st phase of 2006 to be modernised.But since then i have been told that has for the pitsmoor area in the small print it says that the propertys will be fetched up to standard by 2010 which we have all read about but in fact in the small print it says 2015 and if your hose hasn't been modernised by the time the money runs out they will knock your house down so has be for one main person who is supposed to know says 1 thing but another main person says something else,so the confusion goes on.
