If I were to pick I'd probably say something in town, something like Swim Inn, cheap beer for us scallys, easy to get to and can actually have a chat.

I'd say a town pub like Benjamin Huntsman or Swim Inn, they are neutral & good ale!
Most pubs in centre have a 'no colours' policy, so all would have to be undercover.
No point looing for a 50/50 owls/blades pub out of the centre of the city, i don't think they exist!.
