I am looking for opinions on a valentines present I have picked for my boyfriend... I welcome both male and female opinions!

TomTom Go GPS Navigation Unit... I realise these are pricey, but money is not an issue for me. If you read the reviews they do sound good and my boyfriend has already lots of gadgets!

There is further information here:

Thanks,

All help is appreciated! Lou

The best thing you can give someone for Valentines day is a bottle of good wine, a strawberry cheesecake and an early night :)

Is an 'early night' the same as a 'quiet night in'? I don't fancy being sent to bed early otherwise! (I'm not that fussed on strawberry cheesecake either though)

Just a quick update folks I am going to get him one of these Sony Network Walkman (http://www.greatdeal.co.uk/Operation/ItemLookup/ItemId/B0006VJ7WA/) gadgets :)

I was going to go for an ipod but it seems everyone has one these days :(

Not bad, and I certainly wouldn't be too dissapointed to get one of those if given one...

...but I'd much rather have something meaningful and romantic personally. Things like that are better as birthday or xmas gifts I think.

I am glad you like it, and I do realise that it should be romantic which is why I do have a romantic day planned for him. I just like to buy things for the one I love too :)

Oh well thats ok then - the pressie coupled with a romatic day (and sex ;) ) then I'll let you off...

If only I had someone to do those things for me :(

Ah well... another Valentines Day of crying into my pillow it is then! :( :( :(

In the old days a card would be enough and still is IMO. These supermarkets love to hype things up and turn everything into a massive event. It's good for business.

Valentines Day
Fathers Day
Mothers Day
St. Patricks Day
Halloween

The list goes on...

Hurrah! Although for now I guess I should be grateful I don't have to think about buying a pressie for anyone ... hehe :P
