whats more a sheffielder who went to the same school as both me and my other half vidster. i was a few years below and vidster was in the same class, though the jay 'rhodes' we saw through those doors has had a surname change;) :D

I've got to agree, the guy was really good. I'd have liked to see him win, though I can't stand Shaggy.

I know someone who knew him from school, but we weren't too sure at first as she swore his surname wasn't Rhodes.

I was in the same class as Jay at school. He was indeed known by another name but as soon as i saw his face in the Star this week i knew it was him.
He was just as funny at school.....A great lad to have around.

I thought he was ace. Really made me laugh (not in a bad way though). I walked past when they were filming him for the interview bit and he couldn't stop laughing. Fantastic to see a Sheffielder on there.

He was good but I thought the Celine Dion and the Meatloaf were the best of the night.

The guy is a star!, he told me he was going to be on stars but would not reveal who.. had to wait all this time lol!!
