Just read this review on tomshardware about the Fujitsu Siemens Activy Media Server 150 (Activy, it's not a typo).
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/FSC-Activy-Mediaserver150-Zyxel-NSA-220-uPNP,review-29652-2.html
Now the review is very good, it natively runs twonky vision, which by all accounts is one of the best servers around.
However, I cannot for the life of me find this device for sale.
I can find a few FS Media Centres, but they are all living room player devices, this is the server and I want to buy one...
Has anyone heard of it before (I suspect it's pretty new). Can anyone find it for sale and is anyone else impressed with the review?
I can't help you but would like one also. I use the Lacie big disks at work (1TB NAS) and will probably end up getting one of those.

These units are getting better and better TH do review the very latest kit, looks good for the price but no go for me has no raid will be a nightmare to add capacity.
If you end up buying it let us all know the Pros and Cons.
It's got a basic capacity of 500GB and dual USB2.0 for expansion.
I'd use it as a primary server unit and have a dumb (none media server) backup of everything on it.
I currently have a buffalo live server 320GB, but despite having a DLNA compatible server and me having a DLNA compatible player they won't talk. I have to use the philips server software on my pc which means unnecessary network traffic, NAS -> router - router -> pc - pc -> router - router -> media player.
Amazon is showing a second one available at £120 something.
Ah I see, there are different capacities, this one is 250GB, the first one was 400GB, there is supposed to be a 500GB version.
That seller is shipping from Germany, I'm not going to buy it right now, but within the next month probably, so I will post what it's like once I have it.

We should see some UK stockists soon.
Will wait for your review.
i have found it easier to get JUST WHAT YOU WANT, and in most cases cheaper, to build your own into a LAN case (one of the small square ones) and use something like TVersity
To build your own PC I presume.
I already have a PC in the living room, that's not what I want though.
